roos + brian { montjuic, barcelona }
roos and brian planned a trip to barcelona to celebrate brian’s birthday. while here, they organized a photo shoot with me (a great idea if you’re visiting this amazing city!), so we went up to montjuic castle and made our way down into the park. it was a perfect evening to photograph this lovely and sweet couple.
i left my heart in la palma
tyler and i traveled to la palma in the canary islands this past weekend for the transvulcania ultra marathon. (he was running it, not me!) the race was 83km throughout the entire island, around volcano calderas, etc. he had an amazing time and finished 316th out of 982 people (about 1,600 started the race) in 12:18! i don’t know how he does it.
i can’t say enough how lovely the people are on this island. aside from the amount of supporters who came out to cheer runners on the day of the race, the kindness and overall joyfulness of the people was so great to see. the island is beautiful and there’s so much to see. tyler probably saw all of it. i saw some, but not enough. we already want to go back. maybe this summer. here are a few shots from our trip, all via instagram.
oh, one more thing…if anyone is interested in getting married in la palma, look no further for your wedding photographer. ;)

melody + sylvain
melody and sylvain were married in belgium last weekend and came to barcelona for a post-wedding love shoot. we started in plaça real, made it through some of the gothic quarter, visited one of their favorite spots in the city – granja viader – then walked to casa batllo and la pedrera and finished in parc guell. melody and sylvain are a lovely couple – so happy and in love! they were a dream to photograph.
jeremy + cynthia
jeremy and cynthia took a trip to europe to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary. they started in barcelona and are moving on to italy next. what a lovely way to celebrate your marriage! we met at the Parc del Laberint d’Horta this past weekend for some photos. this is one of my most favorite places to shoot in the city. it’s peaceful and romantic – perfect for an anniversary shoot!
